Overview

Golden Grind: Business Empire ("the App") is developed by Limbic Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We aim to collect only what's needed to run the App. Several features — like cloud saving and public profiles — are optional and only process data if you choose to turn them on.

Data we collect

What we process depends on which features you use.

Collected automatically — all players

• Device identifiers (advertising ID, device model, OS version)
• Gameplay analytics (session duration, events, progression)
• Crash reports and diagnostic data
• General location (country/region level only — not precise location)

Account & Cloud Save — only if you sign in

If you sign in with Google or Apple to back up your progress, we process:

• Your email address (from your Google or Apple account)
• Your name, if provided by your sign-in provider
• A unique user identifier (Firebase User ID)
• Your game progress (save data), stored so it can be restored across devices

This is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) and linked to your account. Signing in is optional — without an account, your progress stays only on your device.

Public Profile & Friends — only if you enable it Off by default

If you turn on a public profile, the following becomes visible to other players who have your unique friend code:

• Your display name and avatar
• In-game statistics (such as net worth, prestige level, and businesses shown on your profile)
• Your friend code

This feature is off until you enable it, and you can disable it at any time. Friend codes you save are stored with your account so your friends list follows you across devices.

In-App Purchases

• Purchase history and transaction identifiers
• Entitlement status (what you've unlocked)

We never receive or store your payment details — see Section 05.

Advertising — Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalised or non-personalised ads depending on your consent settings and region.

• Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
• Device information and IP address
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID"

Analytics — Firebase

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand how the App is used and to diagnose problems.

• App usage events (e.g. session start, progression)
• Device type, OS version, and language
• Crash and performance data

In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Limbic Studio has no access to your payment information such as credit card numbers. For billing questions, contact Apple or Google directly.

The App uses RevenueCat to validate and restore purchases across platforms. RevenueCat may collect:

• An app user identifier
• Purchase history and transaction identifiers
• Entitlement status
• Device type and operating system version

Third-party services

The App relies on these services, each with its own privacy policy:

Legal basis for processing

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies, we process your data on these bases:

• Consent — for optional features such as sign-in, public profiles, and personalised ads.
• Performance of a contract — to provide features you request, like cloud save and purchases.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the App secure, fix issues, and improve the experience.

Children's privacy

The App is designed to be appropriate for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). If you believe your child has provided personal information, contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

Data retention

• Analytics data (Firebase) is retained for up to 14 months.
• Account and cloud save data is retained while your account exists, and deleted on request.
• Public profile data exists only while the public profile is enabled, and is deleted when you disable it.
• Advertising data follows Google AdMob's retention policies.

Your rights & data deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Opt out of personalised advertising

To delete your account and associated data (including cloud save and public profile), email us at the address in Section 12. We'll process your request and delete the associated data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
